Aisha Williams
Logistics Coordinator
What I do
I coordinate pickups, schedule trucks, and manage the chain-of-custody documentation for every project. On clean-out days, I am the one making sure the freight elevator is booked, the staging areas are set up, and the drivers know the building rules. I also generate the handover packs that go to clients.
What I’ve learned
I learned project management on the job here. Coordinating a multi-floor clean-out in a busy building is like running a small logistics operation — timing, communication, and documentation all have to be perfect. I have also learned how to read manifests and generate ESG reports, which I never expected to be part of my skill set.
Why WALTER’s model works
The social enterprise model means everyone here has a story. We are not just coworkers — we are people who got a real shot. That makes the team tighter and more motivated. When I see a clean-out go smoothly and the client gets their handover pack on time, I know that is because every person on the team took it seriously.
