Tyler

Tyler joined WALTER at 17, and it was his first job. In his day-to-day work, he has gained hands-on experience handling electronics, learning how devices are built, how materials are sorted, and how responsible recycling works in practice. Over time, the role has helped him build confidence, discipline, and a stronger sense of direction.

Through WALTER, Tyler has developed practical technical knowledge, learned proper recycling processes, and grown personally by moving from uncertainty into a more focused and stable routine. He also says the experience changed his habits outside of work — including recycling at home and thinking differently about waste and the environment.

What stands out most to Tyler is WALTER’s social enterprise model.
